Our Mission

The Jordan Community Development Corporation a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable community and faith-based organization. We do four things that keep families together:

  • Financial Literacy Education
  • Personal Finance Counseling
  • Home Retention Workouts
  • Youth Empowerment (College Entrance Scholarships)

Our Purpose

We have implemented important programs designed to impact and empower families in the areas that we serve. These programs are: 1) promote wealth building and raise financial literacy, 2) to increase home ownership in our community among all income levels, placing additional focus on the under-served groups in our service area, 3) to provide credit and foreclosure mitigation counseling to constituents at risk of losing their homes, and 4) a Youth Empowerment Program that provides college entrance scholarships to deserving youth. Our programs are targeted to make meaningful, measurable and sustainable differences in the lives of our constituents.

Our Constituents Include:

  • Children, Youth, Adults, Senior Citizens, and Families.

Our Current Outreach Services Include:

  • Home Buyer / Owners Club and Youth Empowerment Program

Our Future Outreach Services Will Include:

  • A Senior Housing Initiative, and other programs aimed at helping our constituents.
At Jordan CDC, our employees are partners in our success, vigorously upholding our mission statement for every assignment. Our clients receive important benefits from our services and their support, along with our dedicated efforts, will enable us to expand our programs and broaden our client base within the Greater Dallas Metroplex Area.

Our Goals

Our goal at Jordan CDC is simple...To help members of our community move from their dreams into their realities. We are providing information and services which empower our clients to live a productive and satisfying life grounded in faith.

We plan to accomplish this by...

  • Increasing home ownership in our community
  • Promoting financial literacy and wealth building
  • Serve as advocates for families who are concerned with Home Retention
  • Provide college entrance scholarships to deserving graduating High School students in our service area.
Our goals are accomplished by a solid commitment from every employee and volunteer to shown through the extraordinary service we provide as we care for our client's needs.
